The Georgia Technology Summit event is a prime gathering for technology enthusiasts and experts to come together and discuss the latest trends and innovations. This year’s summit saw a host of speakers and presenters discussing a wide range of topics, from the future of technology to healthcare advancements, machine learning, cybersecurity, sustainability, and more.

The morning keynote by Elatia Abate, an entrepreneur, futurist, and global keynote speaker, set the tone for the day by highlighting the importance of embracing change and innovation in today’s rapidly-evolving technological landscape. This was followed by a State of the Industry update by Shayan Hussain of BlackRock and remarks by Mayor Dickens.

Marc Gorlin, founder and CEO of Roadie, was introduced and presented a fireside chat discussing his company’s innovative delivery system. The summit also introduced Atlanta’s high-performing teams, recognizing and highlighting the achievements of top performers.

The day continued with top 40 introductions and top 10 presentations, which showcased the latest developments in various fields, including technology and audience experiences, healthcare advancements, machine learning, and leveraging large language models like ChatGPT in healthcare.

Winning the War on Talent was another key theme discussed at the summit. Speakers emphasized the importance of nurturing and retaining talent within organizations, as well as building a culture of innovation and experimentation to stay ahead of the curve.

The lunchtime keynote by Rob Thomas, SVP, Software & Chief Commercial Officer of IBM, delved into the role of technology in driving business success, while the Tech Hall of Fame induction ceremony and fireside chat sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) celebrated the achievements of the industry’s pioneers and innovators.

Leadership, technology and innovation, AI and machine learning, thriving as a startup in Georgia, and cybersecurity were other topics that were extensively discussed at the summit. The speakers highlighted the importance of leveraging technology for strategic advantage, building secure financial transactions, and connecting opportunities through the Internet of Things (IoT).

Sustainability was another critical theme discussed at the summit. The speakers stressed the need for companies to grow responsibly and profitably, considering the impact of their operations on the environment and society.

The day concluded with a keynote by Massimo Peselli, Chief Revenue Officer Global Enterprise & Public Sector of Verizon, followed by a visit to the Expo Hall, where attendees had the opportunity to network and interact with industry experts (such us Quadion 😁) and learn about the latest innovations in the field.
